4 Surprisingly Simple Steps to Take You from Procrastination to Progress

One of the biggest frustrations of small business owners is simply procrastinating on tasks that they know need to be done, but just don’t do them. 

Other contributing factors that sideline most entrepreneurs include:

  • not setting clear goals
  • underestimating the difficulty or time required to complete a project or task
  • using the excuse of “no time”
  •  or trying to make something perfect.

Using the L Word to Grow Your Small Business

This is a common question I get from my new small business clients. In fact, recently, I received an email that read, “How do you manage to keep up with your emails, clients, customers and travel? You are just amazing and my hero!” When at a meeting last week, I got a similar question from a networking colleague, too.

Stop and smell the roses. Repeat as necessary.

No roses? No worries! Watch the birds, play on the swings, listen to children laughing, smell the rain on the concrete… whatever. Get past the semantics and get to the point!
